  to whom this may concern. I went through the north bound port of entry and got pulled in for being over weight on my tandems. I did check my weight at the shippers scale and showed legal. I also went through two different scales and got passed through, so I was surprised when I got pulled in for being over weighted on the tandems 1,180 pounds. I think that the scale master could of just make me adjust my weight, but I also have to say I dint weigh at a legal scale so my bad I disserved the ticket. ok ticket being done the officer told me my medical was expired and I assured the office was wrong because I had the long form which showed I had just up date my medical form even with that in the officers hand that office said I would have to stay there until Monday morning. at that point I told the officer that the truck was going to roll and I wasn't going to stay and be late to my customer because they where wrong, I told the officer that I wanted a dot officer to come to the scale house. the officer said that there wasn't one to get a hold of on the weekend so I said fine I will be leaving. there is one thing I have to say is the officer said the would fax the long form in so it would be on file Monday morning and the officer did do that, because I got a call first thing in the morning say it was on file and that where thinking I was still there at the inkom port of entry. that officer did do the right thing at that point. Now it dint stop there I got pulled in at the west bound weight station by Boise so at this point I was getting upset, but the officer had such a gold attitude I got relax and he asked why I left and I said that you all ready know why and I was going to leave there to and he said lets get this resolved with a phone call. so I said that since your making an effort at doing the right thing I would stay entail we got this resolved, so he called a dot officer that was off duty and watching a foot ball game. he took the time to go out to his unit and bring up the infraction. these two officer went beyond there job thank you. now all that being said when you get your medical card up dated the examiner has 60 days to turn that in to dmv so please make sure they get that in to dmv quickly, even though the scale masters should know there job it is still a hassle on them when this happens.
